Qualified Secondary School Teacher - South Birmingham

The Role

We are seeking a qualified Secondary School Teacher (QTS essential) to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will also be working closely with pupils who have additional learning needs (including EHCPs), so experience with or an understanding of SEN is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Support students of all abilities, with a particular focus on those with SEN
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff to ensure all students\' needs are met
• Track pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Attend staff meetings, training days, and contribute to school life and culture

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Degree in relevant subject area
• 6 months or more experience teaching in UK secondary schools (KS3/KS4)
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs
• Strong classroom management skills
• Valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through us)
