Job Title: QA/QC Associate

Our systems are used in sectors including naval, oil, cruise ships, and more. Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Conduct internal audits per schedule and assist with supplier audits.
  • Nonconformance support by supporting investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Document control to maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality documents.
  • Calibration, managing and verify equipment calibration for compliance.
  • QMS Improvement by driving process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote quality culture and assist with training initiatives.
Quality Control (QC)
  • Perform in-process, First Article, and final product inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to customer/regulatory standards.
  • Record inspection results and maintain traceable documentation.
  • Nonconformance Handling.
  • Confirm inspection tools are calibrated and fit for use.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Procurement to resolve quality issues.
Cross-Functional and Engineering Support
  • Participate in design/process change reviews for compliance.
  • Assist with process, equipment, and product validation activities.
  • Support DFMEA and PFMEA documentation.
  • Safety and compliance, ensure alignment of quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives across departments.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 (or other relevant standards such as ISO13485, AS9100, or IATF 16949 if applicable).
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques, measurement tools, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and CAPA tools (5 whys, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.).
  • Experience with documentation systems and QMS.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment (QA, QC, or related function).
  • Familiarity with inspection and calibration systems.
  • Experience participating in audits, PPAP, or validation activities desirable.
