QA Auditor

About the QA Auditor job

The purpose of your role will be to ensure food safety, product quality, and compliance across all site operations. From raw material intake to finished product checks, you will conduct audits, quality assessments, and swabbing, log findings, address non-conformances, and support corrective actions. Working across teams, you will promote best practices and help maintain a strong quality culture throughout the site.

Key tasks
  • Conduct intake and in-process checks on raw materials, mixes, and finished products, perform internal audits, and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and PRP standards, following up on any non-conformances.
  • Conduct hygiene checks, swabbing, and environmental monitoring, support validations, and ensure critical equipment is calibrated and verified on schedule.
  • Accurately record results, maintain organised paperwork, support trials and site visits, resolve quality issues, and collaborate with teams to drive process improvements.
  • Demonstrate core values, participate in meetings, maintain flexibility across shifts, and foster a proactive, visible presence within the team.
About You

The successful candidate shall have previous Quality Assurance experience within food manufacturing with food hygiene and HACCP training. Auditing and resolving quality issues with an understanding on traceability and hygiene practices. The person should be knowledgeable and confident in training and coaching others on QA Processes.

More details

The QA Auditor job (ref:8958) is paying £14.56 per hour (c. £30,000 to £34,000) according to your experience. This is a Sunday to Thursday day shift role.

The site is based in Cambridgeshire and is commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon and surrounding areas.
