Overview

Purchase Ledger Clerk – Stoke-on-Trent. Up to £26,000 salary. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm. Main Dealership automotive working environment. Previous automotive purchase ledger experience ideal. Many fantastic company benefits. Due to an influx of orders and new business, a unique opportunity has arisen within the Stoke area to work with one of the biggest brands in the automotive trade within one of the best groups in the dealer network.

Duties of a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of administration processes to achieve company benchmarks.
  • Responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger across two sites.
  • Planning ahead and managing time carefully to ensure all tasks are achieved.
  • Ensuring that action is taken to ensure compliance with Group benchmarks.
  • Striving to achieve a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance in order to ensure that the accurate information is always available from which to make decisions.
  • Raising and processing payments for suppliers.
  • Registering and processing invoices.

  • Previous automotive purchase ledger experience is ideal.
  • Non-motor trade accounts background would also be considered.
  • Kerridge system background
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
