Qualifications

Are you an inspiring Sociology or Criminology specialist with a passion for shaping the next generation of learners? Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking Further Education college in the Brighton area, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic teacher to join their team from January.

The Role

You will be delivering A-Level and/or BTEC Sociology and/or Criminology to motivated learners, contributing to curriculum planning, assessment, and student support. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal development.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Sociology and/or Criminology
  • Assessing and providing constructive feedback to learners
  • Supporting students with progression, study skills, and subject knowledge
  • Contributing to departmental meetings and curriculum development
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with college policies
Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS, or equivalent) - or willingness to work towards one
