A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their specialized Mental Health Liaison Team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments and support risk management for individuals referred from the Emergency Department and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in adult mental health and a commitment to culturally sensitive care, ensuring the best outcomes for diverse populations.
An opportunity has arisen for a practitioner to join the well-established Mental Health Liaison Team, which forms part of Newham’s Crisis Pathway. The team follows the principles of “Rapid Assessment Interface Discharge” which is a model of psychiatric liaison serving the Newham University Hospital including the Emergency Department and inpatient wards.
The post holder will provide specialist mental health input, support and conduct full mental health assessments, and risk assessment & management plans for people that are referred to our team from the Emergency Department and general wards.
