You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards. The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Engineering and have proven experience with buses or coaches. Qualifications

  • Understanding of DVSA standards and safety regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence; PCV licence is desirable but not essential.

About the Role

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable PSV Technician to join our team in Luton. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on PSV vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards and company safety procedures
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out preventive maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed
  • Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and maintain fleet availability
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle / PSV / Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of DVSA standards and safety regulations
