The Council owns a diverse portfolio of buildings, including the Grade 1 Listed Guildhall and other historic heritage and cultural assets, community centres, offices, car parks, crematorium, parks and other sports and leisure facilities. It is an estate that is constantly changing, through town centre regeneration and new capital investment and the Property and Asset Management Team is at the heart of this. This is a key role which ensures that customer contact through the team’s help desk is actioned and that contractors are instructed with appropriate priority. You will work with colleagues in the team to provide a fully responsive property management service. Raising Purchase Orders, resolving invoice queries and making payments are other important aspects of the role. The post uses and acts as the system administrator for the Council’s cloud‑based asset management system, for which appropriate training will be provided.
