Job description

Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader, the Property Cleaning/Voids Operative is responsible for ensuring that all properties are cleaned and maintained to a high standard of hygiene and in full compliance with specified requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all properties are clean, hygienic, and ready for occupancy, in line with company standards.
  • Remove rubbish and arrange proper disposal.
  • Carry out minor repairs and address defects as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date cleaning and maintenance records.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support colleagues as needed, including providing cover.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to team discussions and shared goals.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant communications, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively engage in required training and development as part of your Personal Development Plan.
  • Handle all personal data responsibly and in line with data protection policies.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and undergo a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • Previous experience in property cleaning or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and safe application.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
