Property Acquisition Surveyor Overview

We are working with a highly successful retail group are keen to recruit a Property Acquisition Surveyor to join their ambitious, and commercially minded Property Acquisitions team.

The Property Acquisition Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business’ retail estate. This overall responsibility of the role is to identify, secure and deliver new store locations across the UK.

Property Acquisition Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess and secure new retail opportunities from initial appraisal through to lease completion
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, leases and associated agreements
  • Work closely with internal teams including Finance, Retail Operations and HR to ensure all new store openings meet business requirements
  • Prepare and present proposals for new store opportunities
  • Support senior stakeholders in identifying growth, expansion and diversification opportunities
  • Deliver against targeted acquisition objectives for the portfolio
Additional Information

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial property or transactional role
  • Strong experience negotiating leases, agreements for lease and occupational requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • A demonstrable history of achieving results in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing demands
