Established in 2001, our client is a well-regarded Property Sales, Lettings & Management company based in the vibrant Broadway Market in Hackney. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Accounts Manager to join their team. This role involves managing all financial aspects of their lettings and management portfolio, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants.
Responsibilities
- Process rent receipts, payments, and invoices accurately and on time
- Reconcile client accounts, bank statements, and deposit registrations
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with Client Money Protection and ARLA guidelines
- Assist with the preparation of client statements and reports
- Handle queries from landlords, tenants, contractors and property managers
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc lettings & property management tasks and processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and property regulations
- Assist with preparation of Service Charge budgets and accounts for a small number of managed blocks
- Assisting Company director on ad hoc company financial and administrative tasks
Qualifications / Experience
- 1-3 years' experience in property accounts, lettings administration, or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and property accounting software desirable, e.g. Alto or similar
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with client money regulations and ARLA compliance (advantageous but not essential)
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: £28,000 - £34,000 Depending on Experience
- 28 days holiday inclusive of state/bank holidays

- Full training on the use of Alto Property software if required
