Gwynfa is a Temporary Supported Accommodation service supporting individual Males who have experienced homelessness. Referrals are received for the accommodation from the Local authority Housing Team. Individuals may have varying support needs, such as, mental health issues, substance misuse issues, and offending history. You will support the individuals to develop independent living skills to enable them to manage their Temporary accommodation at Gwynfa and prepare them to move onto independent sustainable accommodation. Our team delivers support to vulnerable individuals and helps them to develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability, promote re-settlement into the community and achieve positive progression. You will play a key part in enabling individuals to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives. Every day is different and every day you would learn new skills and can work with a variety of agencies such as housing, DWP, social services, Police, and health professionals.
