Project Quality Engineer-PCS

The Project Quality Engineer develops and maintains system rules and processes to ensure the fulfillment of internal and external requirements. They ensure that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards (preventive). Positions require a thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

The Project Quality Engineer is Responsible for:
  • Engineering Procure Construct tendering and project execution phases. Verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled and have maximized customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Establishing and executing project quality plans, witness‑points, quality records for compliance with contract.
  • Ensuring customer quality requirements, Feedback of Experience (FOE) / Lessons Learned are taken into account in the tender proposal to avoid deviation and continually improve execution processes.
  • Advising functional managers regarding project processes and procedures in their field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Have significant experience working in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance in an electro‑mechanical assembly environment.
  • Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams and initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
