Job summary

A leading technology solution provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support project management through robust project plans and efficient resource management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in planning roles, particularly with Primavera, and a deep understanding of project management principles. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within project teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in planning roles with strong project management knowledge.
• Ability to report earned value management processes effectively.
• Proven experience supporting complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in creating project plans using Primavera.
• Coordinate timely allocation of resources.
• Assist in the reporting of project progress.

Skills

Extensive experience of working in a busy Planning role

Extensive experience of working with planning software (such as Primavera)

Significant knowledge of all aspects of Project Management

Proven track record of creating and maintaining robust project plans

Proven track record of providing planning support

Proven track record of working across large project teams

Ability to challenge project managers/teams

Experience of working within an engineering or IT development environment

Competent user of MS Office suite

Education

A Level education or equivalent

APM qualification or equivalent

Degree or equivalent in a Project/Business discipline

Tools

Primavera

MS Office (Word, Excel)

Risk analysis software
