Overview

Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects across civils and utilities. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are now seeking a Project Planner to support the successful planning and delivery of projects.

The Role

As Project Planner, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes, working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide programme updates
• Carry out critical path analysis and forecasting
• Support tender planning and pre-construction activities
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams
• Produce reports for internal teams and client stakeholders
• Assist with change management and programme recovery where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of planning software (P6 or MS Project)
• Experience working on utilities, civils or water projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities
• Full UK driving licence
