Job summary

A leading engineering and consulting provider based in London is seeking a Project Planner for their Nuclear and Defence team. The ideal candidate will possess significant project planning experience, particularly in Major Nuclear/Defence projects, and be proficient with tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. This role offers a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Major Nuclear/Defence projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in project planning/scheduling.
• Understanding of DCMA/CIOB Protocol & risk-adjusted programmes.

• Submit NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance.
• Conduct integrity checks on supply chain/third-party programmes.
• Maintain, control, analyse, and support recovery planning.
• Plan and schedule major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment projects.

We are seeking an Project Planner to join our client's Nuclear and Defence team in their London office on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading engineering and consulting provider who are experts on delivery large scale projects across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Update and develop project programmes
• Submit NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance
• Conduct integrity checks on supply chain/third-party programmes
• Maintain, control, analyse, and support recovery planning
• Plan and schedule major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment projects

Requirements

• Experience working on Major Nuclear/Defence projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in project planning/scheduling
• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject
• Holds MACOSTE, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent
• Understanding of DCMA/CIOB Protocol & risk-adjusted programmes
• Eligible for security clearance
