Job description

Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a home counties based main contractor. The Main Contractor builds within sectors including Education, Healthcare, and Commercial within London and the Home Counties with project values ranging between £1 - £10 million in value. The projects are a mixture of refurbishment and fit out projects including laboratory fit out, office re configuration works, external areas such as footways and mechanically biased steam works.

Responsibilities

• Taking the lead on managing a project through to PC
• Client reporting
• Be able to manage the professional team & Client
• Be able to lead on all programming & planning duties
• Ability to be able to work with the design team on design implementation
• Commercially aware - undertake a valuation, look at a pricing schedule etc

Qualifications

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid qualified
• Ability to pass an SC clearance (if the candidate has this already this would be a bonus)

My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate with a view to being a temp to perm role which will include a basic salary, car allowance, travel, healthcare and pension with the position looking to start dependant on the candidate notice period.
