John Charles Search is working with a leading distributor of racking and shelving products. This ambitious company is expanding rapidly and aims to strengthen its market position. Known for quality and innovation, they provide tailored storage solutions across various industries. They are now seeking a Project Manager in the Northwest to support their continued growth and success.

The Role

To oversee and coordinate own workload of multiple storage equipment projects (mezzanine floors, pallet racking, shelving etc.) to time and budget achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining/increasing estimated profit margins.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a project from handover to completion - ensuring it is completed on time, to budget and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for procurement of materials, labour, plant etc.
  • Conduct site surveys and installation drawings.
  • Co-ordinate with multiple contractors - preparing program of works.
  • Prepare of all relevant health and safety documents, including acting as contractor when required, following CDM regulations.
  • Monitor progress of projects and carrying out site inspections.
  • Liaise with the customer throughout project and carrying out site progress meetings when required.
  • Oversee the invoicing process from project initiation to completion, working closely with the customer's accounts team to ensure payments are received at agreed stages throughout the project.

  • Holds valid CSCS and either SMSTS or SEIRS qualifications (desirable).
