Job description

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: Infrastructure Programme

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

What You'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects within the programme. You'll ensure that project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You are the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery. You will lead the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring structural integrity while embedding compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory safety frameworks.

You’ll Have:

A proven track record of delivering projects and experience of full end-to-end delivery of the project lifecycle, ideally with expertise in fire engineering, water hygiene, asbestos management.

About you:

With strong collaborative ability, you have decision and negotiation skills to positively impact your projects. You also have strong planning capability, ensuring concise working measures and active listening skill to firmly influence and drive your projects forward on time and on budget. You will be a technical leader, regulatory fluency, and have the ability to manage safety-critical elements within structural projects from concept to completion.
