We’re partnering with a fast-growing UK specialist in pneumatic conveyancing and mechanical solutions to recruit a talented, motivated PM to support their expanding project portfolio. This is the perfect role for someone who loves variety, problem-solving, site work, and delivering projects that run like clockwork.

About the PM Role:

In this exciting hybrid role, you’ll lead mechanical installation projects from first concept through to final handover. From scoping and surveying to managing site teams and ensuring technical and safety compliance, you’ll be the driving force behind delivering projects on time and on budget.

You’ll work from home, with regular site visits across the UK and occasional travel to head office.

What’s in It for You:
  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • Flexible Monday–Friday schedule
  • Hybrid work arrangement
  • Inclusive, supportive employer that welcomes diverse applicants
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Manage small-scale mechanical installation projects end-to-end
  • Scope, design, and price projects in collaboration with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Conduct site surveys, attend meetings, and lead client and stakeholder discussions
  • Prepare documentation including RAMS, project schedules, and progress reports
  • Track all costs, risks, and milestones, providing monthly updates to senior management
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are fully met
  • Lead site-based teams and subcontractors, motivating and maintaining high performance
  • Submit valuations and variations aligned with client payment terms
  • Oversee day-to-day contract operations and resolve project issues quickly
  • Complete professional handovers and post-project reviews
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience managing MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) or building services projects
  • Strong technical understanding of installation environments, new builds, and refurbishments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Calm, logical decision-making — especially under pressure
  • Solid commercial awareness and experience with budgeting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Full UK driving licence
Personal Attributes:
  • A natural leader with the confidence to motivate site teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised
  • Comfortable prioritising multiple projects
  • Professional, adaptable, and able to engage with people at all levels
