  • Deep understanding of the challenges of introducing new assets, technology or changes in business practice into complex, safety‑critical business environments and the necessary trade‑off between cost, time and quality.
  • Detailed knowledge of one or several of the professional/technical disciplines deployed in transport and how they can be brought together appropriately in projects and programmes to solve client problems.
  • Strong understanding of the delivery of projects at an early stage including a thorough knowledge of one or more of the following specialisms: business case development, whole life costing, securing sources of funding.
