Are you an experienced project professional with a passion for offshore survey operations? If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where technical excellence, safety and client success come first, we want you on our team.

As a Project Manager at Sulmara, you will lead and deliver exciting offshore survey projects from contract award through execution to closeout. You'll be the driving force behind project planning, risk mitigation, commercial performance, safety leadership and client engagement, ensuring high-quality delivery that strengthens client relationships and supports company growth.

You'll work closely with offshore teams, support functions, subcontractors and clients to deliver results commercially and technically, while promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and world‑class safety.

What you’ll do
Lead Project Delivery
  • Take full ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Manage planning, execution, risk, cost and contractual performance.
  • Monitor project progress and outcomes with a proactive approach.
Drive Commercial & Client Success
  • Build strong relationships with clients.
  • Deliver against KPIs, incorporating feedback into future plans.
  • Ensure accurate, timely client invoicing.
  • Support contract commercial management and change control.
Support Offshore Operations
  • Coordinate resources - personnel, equipment and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance to offshore teams and resolve challenges.
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement across project execution.
Champion QHSE
  • Promote quality, health, safety and environmental excellence.
  • Lead safety documentation, compliance and lessons‑learned tracking.
  • Participate in incident investigations and emergency responses when needed.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Support certifications, training and development of project crew.
  • Assist internal departments with project information and cross team coordination.
  • Uphold Sulmara’s values, integrity and IMS processes.
What you’ll need

You are an organized, confident and results‑driven professional with strong communication skills and a passion for operational excellence.

What you bring
  • Degree in Survey / Geomatics / Hydrography or equivalent industry experience.
  • Extensive offshore survey experience.
  • Proven track record in project management (Survey Projector / Party Chief experience considered).
  • Strong communicator - written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead independently and collaboratively.
