Project Manager

Location: Colchester (Hybrid with occasional international travel)

Are you a proactive, detail-driven Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-profile customer projects across the UK and internationally?

We are working with an established organisation in the technology space that is looking to strengthen its project delivery function with a confident, commercially-savvy Project Manager.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of coordinating cross‑functional teams, shaping delivery processes, and ensuring projects land on time, within scope, and to an exceptional standard.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the coordination and delivery of customer pilots and wider project rollouts, working closely with sales, implementation, customer service teams, third‑party partners and other stakeholders
• Managing project intake, documentation, and the overall flow of initiatives through the pipeline to ensure smooth, measurable delivery
• Ensuring project methodologies are followed, including proper closure, reporting, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
• Creating and maintaining Gantt charts, tracking actions, monitoring risks, and keeping all delivery owners accountable
• Forecasting and tracking project costs, identifying variances and opportunities for savings
• Acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customers, gathering requirements, coordinating meetings, and reporting progress against milestones
• Producing clear and concise project reporting, including KPIs and status updates for senior leadership
• Enhancing delivery processes, templates, and documentation, and supporting the wider team with training and best‑practice guidance

About you

• A proven Project Manager with experience delivering multi‑site or global projects, ideally within a customer‑focused environment
• A recognised project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMI) or equivalent experience
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines confidently
• Strong stakeholder‑management experience—comfortable influencing, coordinating, and holding others to account in a matrix structure
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers on delivery, progress reporting, and risk management
• Solid Microsoft skills and experience creating Gantt charts is a must
• Experience working within an ISO9001 compliance environment
• A natural problem‑solver with the ability to identify solutions quickly and drive positive outcomes
