THE ROLE

The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling and coordination of the packaged service and enablement collateral from Services Portfolio and Enablement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success Management, Professional Services, Support, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations.

Typical responsibilities will include identification and onboarding our rotational team of field resources each quarter, based on the requirements of the roadmap, planning the release calendar, and ensuring the team tracks to the timeline agreed using available tools. Communicating progress and ensuring collaboration across the Temenos ecosystem through the identification and measurement of Key Performance Indicators, will be key to the success of each rotation, allowing risks to be identified, tracked and managed, quality maintained and opportunities for continuous improvement incorporated into our processes.

OPPORTUNITIES
  • Typical responsibilities of the Portfolio Project Manager in the Services Portfolio and Enablement team will include:
  • Service Portfolio Rotation: You will ensure that the resources identified for a rotation into Services Portfolio and Enablement are scheduled for the appropriate duration and complete the necessary onboarding training prior to commencing any assigned tasks.
  • Release planning and coordination: You are responsible for maintaining the release calendar, which includes all scheduled releases and their timelines. They work closely with the Service Owners and Rotation to understand the scope of each release and ensure that all necessary resources are allocated for successful delivery.
  • Communication and collaboration: You are responsible for communicating with stakeholders about the release process, timelines, and progress as provided by the Service Owners. They work to ensure that everyone is aware of the status of the release.
  • Risk management: You are responsible for identifying potential risks and issues that could impact the release process and working with the team to mitigate these risks and ensure that the release is successful.
  • Quality assurance: You are responsible for ensuring that the services product being released meets the required quality standards.
  • Continuous improvement: You are responsible for evaluating the release process and identifying areas for improvement. They work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that can help streamline the release process and improve efficiency.
SKILLS
  • Communication skills: You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills: You should be able to analyse complex information and make informed decisions about release planning and risk management.
  • Technical skills: You should have a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools, as well as experience with project planning tools. Knowledge and understanding of the Customer Success Organisation structure and operating approach, is also useful.
  • Experience: The role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management within a Customer Success or Experience setting.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications can also be helpful in demonstrating expertise in the field. These include but are not limited to:
  • Project Management Certifications – Prince2, PMP, AgilePM
  • ITIL V4 Certifications – Foundation
