Job description

We're pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Project Manager to join our expanding team at AXA UK. Working within the Commercial SME Transformation Digital team, you will play a key role in delivering the commercial strategy and platform and collaborating closely with commercial business, internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across the SME digital platform. You will also support the strengthening of our change capability, acceleration of strategic programmes and promotion of improved ways of working and effective change management across the UK.

You will work at least two days a week away from home (40%) and will move to three days a week (60%) in the future. This includes attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. Flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion with Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering assigned projects within agreed scope, budget and timeline, following established project methodologies.
  • Identifying, assessing and managing risks, escalating issues as needed, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements, securing resources and developing detailed project plans.
  • Monitoring project activities, tracking progress and addressing deviations from plans.
  • Managing third‑party suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project goals within quality, cost and time constraints.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
  • Providing accurate, timely reports on project status and risks to leadership and relevant teams.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management with a qualification such as Agile PM, APM or Prince2 Practitioner.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with third parties and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of risk management and compliance in regulated settings.
  • Experience working within a team of project managers and cross‑functional resources.
  • Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
