About the Role

Mott MacDonald Bentley is the design and build unit of the global engineering consultancy Mott Macdonald. We are currently recruiting Engineers across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Process disciplines to work on major infrastructure projects under our partnership on an AMP8 framework with United Utilities. Project Leaders will support the delivery of projects for some of the UK's largest water and sewerage companies, including Northumbrian Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water and Welsh Water.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects through the outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate the project team including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Process designers to ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by each framework and industry specifications.
• Work as part of a "Project triangle" alongside a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure that technical, constructability and commercial aspects of project delivery are considered throughout.
• Build positive relationships with the client project, operational and technical assurance teams and promote a "one-team" approach.

Qualifications & Experience

• ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated member of the ICE or demonstrable progress made in attaining the ICE attributes.
• Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.
