PROJECT ENGINEER - BIRMINGHAM

Our client is a leading Demolition and RC Contractor, turning over approximately £150m. They take on complex schemes across the UK and take pride in their team's dedication to delivering on time and within budget. They are seeking a skilled PROJECT ENGINEER with experience working on demolition projects with retained façade and basement RC works.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist all phases of demolition/RC works, from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with Project Manager on demolition and basement works sequence.
  • Oversee site engineers.
  • Report any changes to QS.
  • Be heavily involved in design co-ordination and meetings.
  • Prepare design and technical submittals.
  • Quality Assurance.
  • Temporary works co-ordination.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Demolition experience essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have UK/London/Birmingham experience.
  • CSCS & SSSTS or SMSTS
