Project Engineer / R&D Engineer / Mechanical Development Engineer required to join a technical consultancy and engineering services provider supporting complex projects in the space, vacuum, and advanced mechanical systems sector based in Warrington.

The successful Project Engineer will support end-to-end delivery of technical and R&D programmes, including design, analysis, testing, and reporting. You’ll manage your own tasks or project work packages, working hands‑on with mechanical assemblies, test rigs, and cleanroom systems.

You’ll have experience in mechanical design, CAD modelling, and project coordination within a high‑spec engineering environment, ideally linked to aerospace, precision mechanisms, or vacuum systems.
