The successful candidate will collaborate with the Project Manager to manage projects, ensuring that Weetabix Capital funds are used effectively in line with the business's strategy and goals. You will be tasked with providing detailed project scopes while avoiding scope creep, drawing on your exceptional stakeholder management and persuasive abilities.

The Recipe (About the Role)

As part of our commitment to excellence and sustainability in project management, the following responsibilities are essential:

• Deliver a 100% safety record with zero accidents across project delivery, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to the health and welfare of all personnel involved.
• Adhere strictly to CAPEX budgets, making sure to monitor both individual project budgets and the overarching department, site, and company CAPEX budgets to ensure financial integrity and accountability.
• Forecast and update spend profiles on an ongoing basis, guaranteeing accurate financial planning and stringent control measures are in place to manage expenditures effectively.
• Prepare and present comprehensive Project approval presentations for review at levels up to Managing Director, ensuring all relevant information is conveyed to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Ensure that regular and accurate communication is maintained with all key and relevant stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage proactively with support functions such as Procurement and Legal to ensure that robust procedures are meticulously followed, thereby minimising risk and enhancing compliance.
• Follow the Weetabix EEM process rigorously for all projects, ensuring that our methodologies align with company standards and best practices.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Skills

• Competent with MS Office and standard Engineering applications
• Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills, ability to quickly understand business processes and technical requirements.
• Experience of working in Engineering, Food and/ or FMCG

• Managing budgets
• Working within a stage-gate driven project management process
• Implementing and managing change

Desirable Skills

• Recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Suitable safety qualifications (i.e. SMSTS, FAAW or IOSH)
• Project Management Qualification, Prince 2, APM ETC
