Qualifications

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar is essential.
• GCSE Grade 5 (C) or higher in Maths & English is required.
• Experience of working within the Oil & Gas industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cost-effective design, material procurement, and documentation.
• Directly responsible to the Engineering Manager.
• Supervise workshop personnel and/or sub-contractors as required.

Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)

AutoCAD experience

SolidWorks & 3D Modelling

Knowledge of manufacturing, welding, piping and materials

ASME PV code knowledge (i.e. ASME VIII)

Education

HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar

GCSE Grade 5 or higher in Maths & English
