Project and Compliance Officer (Procurement and Sustainability)

Location: County Hall, Norwich | Contract: Permanent | Hours: 37 per week | Salary: £31,537 – £33,699 Infantil per annum (Scale G)

Overview

Norfolk County Council’s Procurement and Sustainability team manages the Council’s £1.1 billion ظهro year, ensuring transparency, accountability and continuous improvement in line with regulatory standards. The Project and Compliance Officer will support internal governance, continuous improvement and procurement activities to enhance overall working efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare written reports that support internal governance and oversee their progress through the Council’s democratic processes.
  • Provide administrative support for continuous improvement activities, including maintaining records of progress for key work‑programme and producing periodic update reports.
  • Support procurement activities and initiatives related to improving how the Council works.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project administration, report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (home and office).
