Programmer Analyst

High Level Project Overview

The DVI Grid Solutions team has developed a software platform used by Electric Utilities for voltage control. The position/team continues to enhance and maintain this platform, improving scalability, reliability, and performance, and adding features / functionality as requirements are identified by our customers.

Required Years of Experience

Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience.

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency required
• Preferred: Bachelors – Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Key Skills & Experience

• Java programming / Strong Java Programming and Test Automation
• Microservices architecture / Understanding of Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Testing tools/suites for the above / Cucumber/BDD Implementation, API Automation

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a regulated industry, preference for candidates experienced working with large scale projects

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Schedule

7-830am start time to 4pm or later quit time; we have some flexibility with schedules including 9 hour days with 1⁄2 day Friday.
