Programme / Project Manager (Manufacturing) – Newport – £55,000 - £62,000

This thriving South Wales manufacturer is looking to further strengthen its existing Programme / Project function, following the acquisition of several lucrative new contracts. The company has an enviable reputation for design excellence and is the supplier of choice for many of the world's leading manufacturers.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of projects from the enquiry stage through to manufacturing, ensuring handover to the customer on time and to budget.
  • Oversee all operational and financial aspects of designated customer accounts, including costs, pricing, profitability, working capital and customer service.
  • Lead the team to foster exceptional customer service and drive short‑term wins and long‑term growth opportunities.
  • Support the maintenance of high levels of gross margin and operating profit, prioritising financial stability and growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer operational relationships, focusing on ensuring satisfaction, resolving issues and maintaining escalations effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in Programme / Project Management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of overseeing operational and financial aspects of customer accounts – costs, pricing, profitability, delivering products from enquiry to handover.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, trade compliance and MRP.
