About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Operations and Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll manage apprenticeship recruitment, coordinate STEM engagement activities, and ensure the smooth operational delivery of training programmes. You’ll play a key part in supporting learners, engaging with employers, and promoting our apprenticeship offering.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the pipeline of apprentice applicants and provide employability advice and guidance.
  • Lead open evenings and attraction events at the training centre.
  • Coordinate STEM and outreach activities with schools and education partners.
  • Work closely with marketing colleagues to promote apprenticeship programmes.
  • Support employer partners with apprentice recruitment.
  • Oversee operational coordination of training programmes, including inductions and learner reviews.
  • Maintain learner administration and data in line with compliance requirements.
  • Provide pastoral care, safeguarding, and mentoring for learners.
  • Liaise with external organisations and employer partners to ensure a seamless learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • GCSEs (Maths & English grade 4/C or above) and Level 2 Functional Skills.
  • Qualification in employability and/or Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance.
  • Understanding of the engineering sector and apprenticeship standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with learner management systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.
  • Full commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing.
Desirable

Experience in apprentice recruitment, STEM engagement, and event organisation.
