Responsibilities include developing courses in leadership and management, and conducting training needs analyses. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring travel across the UK. As a Professional Studies Trainer, you will design and deliver engaging training programmes that shape the future of leadership and management. Your responsibilities include developing commercial courses and apprenticeship programmes in areas such as leadership, management, coaching, and business administration for team leaders, middle managers, and executive managers.
Through a blended approach of face‑to‑face sessions and virtual workshops, you will empower future leaders to reach their full potential. You will work closely with IQAs to ensure all content meets rigorous quality standards and complies with Awarding and End Point Assessment Organisation requirements.
You will support the sales and business development team by conducting training needs analyses and helping secure new contracts, while maintaining commercial acumen to drive revenue growth.
Flexibility is key: you will deliver workshops via Teams or at client sites across the UK, and will be required to travel nationally.
This is a permanent, full‑time position offering a hybrid home‑working arrangement, with a primary base at either Oxford College or Reading College and national travel to client sites.
We are looking for a management professional with at least 5 years’ experience in middle to senior management roles, a strong understanding of apprenticeship and commercial training, and a Coaching or Mentoring qualification. You should possess excellent skills in designing and delivering engaging curriculum, alongside strong English, Maths, and digital capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning platforms such as Canvas, outstanding communication and problem‑solving skills, and a professional team‑player attitude are essential. A full clean driving licence, access to a vehicle, and the flexibility to travel across the UK are required.
