We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join a leading international law firm's highly regarded professional indemnity team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile matters for top insurers, offering a blend of supervisory responsibilities and direct client engagement.

As a key member of the team, you will mentor junior lawyers, oversee complex cases, and work closely with senior colleagues on a broad spectrum of insurance and professional negligence claims.

About You

• Solicitor with substantial experience in Professional Indemnity law (approximately 5+ PQE)
• Ideally, this role will be recruited at Senior Associate level - you might already be operating at this level, or be looking to make the step up.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload involving the defence of professional negligence claims
• Strong client-facing skills, with the confidence to handle relationships with major insurers and insured professionals
• Experience in guiding and supervising junior fee earners and sharing knowledge effectively
• Competence in handling pre-action proceedings and litigated matters independently
• Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality legal advice and support
