Production Team Leader

Nights (Mon-Thurs / 16:30-03:00)

£37,500

The Role

As a Production Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe daily operations across the production floor. You'll lead, motivate, and develop a team of operators while maintaining high standards of output, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of production operatives to meet daily targets
  • Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and manage staffing levels
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Report production data, issues, and opportunities to senior management
  • Support problem‑solving and root‑cause activities to reduce downtime
About You
  • Experienced in a supervisory or team‑leading role within manufacturing
  • Confident in coaching and motivating a diverse team
  • Strong in communication, organisation, and decision‑making
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused, and committed to improvement
  • Knowledgeable in lean, 5S, or similar methodologies (desirable)
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
