A leading audio technology company in the United Kingdom is looking for a placement student to support their Production Systems Development Team. You will help develop bespoke testing systems for audio interfaces and collaborate on product development. The role requires Python coding skills and a good understanding of audio electronics. This 12-month placement offers a salary of £25,100 annually, and you can gain valuable experience in a creative environment.
We're looking for a placement student to support our Production Systems Development (PSD) Team in developing bespoke test systems to our overseas factories for the mass production of state‑of‑the‑art audio interfaces, MIDI controllers and synthesizers. You will be working in a people‑focused, multi‑functional design & engineering team, collaborating on new product development and the continuous improvement of our production processes, systems and tools. If you want to join an Agile team, involved in the development of industry leading sound recording and music production equipment in an exciting company which is committed to grow and evolve, we would love to hear from you.
Doing a 12‑month placement at the Focusrite Group is like becoming one of the family. A rapidly growing, global family. We're focused on providing opportunities for everyone and anyone to enjoy creating music.
Our placements are very popular, and that's mainly because you can really get stuck in during your year with us. We don't ask you to answer the phones and do the photocopying. We want you to help develop our products, market our brands, speak to our customers and make us better. A lot of our previous placement candidates are now full‑time employees. All placements last for 12‑months. We pay you £25,100 per year (£27,100 for London‑based roles), and you get to share some of the same benefits as our permanent employees. Our brands – Focusrite, Focusrite Pro, Novation, Ampify, ADAM Audio, Martin Audio, Optimal Audio, Linea Research, Sequential, Oberheim, Sonnox, OutBoard and TiMax – come together around a common mission to remove barriers to creativity. We work hard. We are professional. And we play hard too. We select really, really talented and passionate people. And we absolutely love our work. So if you think you can bring something new to the mix, we look forward to hearing from you.
