Join our Clients innovative team at a leading company specialising in high precision products for a variety of industries. We are seeking a Production Supervisor who is confident, organised, and self-motivated. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing people with respect, and excels at meeting deadlines.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Supervise the Shop Floor to ensure efficient workflow, attendance, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Progress-chase jobs through the Shop Floor, collaborating with various teams to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring production schedules are achieved.
  • Conduct regular team briefings to communicate priorities, deadlines, and any changes to schedules or processes.
  • Escalate issues affecting production or delivery timelines to relevant departments or senior managers.
  • Ensure staff follow company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of production performance and report regularly to senior management.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Actively involve in production, team, and staff meetings.
  • Assist in managing staff conflict professionally, working closely with HR to escalate or resolve issues where necessary.
  • Champion continuous improvement, health & safety, and foster a positive work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing supervisor or team leadership role
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel).
  • An interest in engineering would be preferred.
