PRODUCTION SCHEDULING ADMINISTRATOR

SHIPLEY

PERMANENT

SALARY 33k

Our client, a large engineering business based near Shipley, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed production scheduling administrator to join their growing team.

As the Production Scheduling administrator you will assist in the planning process, have interaction with and influence many other departments in the business.

You will have many duties as the production scheduling administrator which will be, but not limited to

  • Assist Sales during the quote phase, providing lead time estimates.
  • Ensure Production Engineering action Make/Buy decisions in time, and produce routings for Make parts to enable production works orders to be started on time.
  • Contact Finance to perform standard cost build ups on Make parts to enable Production Works Orders to be produced.
  • Check MRP requirements for purchased items to be ordered, and late/missing acknowledged dates.
  • Update completed operations
  • Produce Schedules for Bar Stores
  • Produce MRP Exception Listing spreadsheet
  • Arrange stock checks for missing parts, to clarify action needed. Work with Assembly Inspection to raise IRs for lost parts
  • Check for surplus stock and move to NONCON
  • Attend production meetings providing feedback and receiving requests
  • Work with Stores / Inspection / Despatch departments to arrange picking, packing and shipping.

You will already have experience in a similar manufacturing environment, having worked with MRP systems, BOM's and routings.

You will of course have the usual, interpersonal skills, communication, team player at all levels.
