Job Description

1. Works Order Management

* Create, release, and manage production works orders in SAP based on manufacturing schedules and demand forecasts.

* Monitor order progress and ensure timely closure of completed works orders.

* Coordinate with production and planning teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.



2. Master Data Maintenance

* Maintain accurate material master data, BOMs, routings, and work centres.

* Ensure data integrity and compliance with site-specific manufacturing standards.



3. Inventory and Materials Management

* Support inventory transactions including goods receipts, goods issues, and stock transfers.

* Monitor stock levels and assist in resolving inventory variances.

* Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure material availability.



4. System Support and Troubleshooting

* Act as the first point of contact for SAP-related issues on site.

* Troubleshoot and resolve user errors, system bugs, and transactional issues.

* Liaise with IT or SAP support teams for escalated issues.



5. Reporting and Analytics

* Generate and distribute SAP reports related to production, inventory, and order status.

* Support KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis.



6. Compliance and Audit Support

* Ensure SAP transactions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.

* Support internal and external audits by providing relevant SAP data and documentation.



7. Continuous Improvement

* Identify opportunities to streamline SAP processes and improve system efficiency.

* Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance manufacturing operations through SAP.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Planning SAP Admin should have:
