Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in the United Kingdom seeks a production planner to manage production flow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing planning, especially with MRP/SAP systems, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time on-site position, Monday to Friday, offering a unique opportunity within a world-renowned brand in various industries, including Motorsport and Aerospace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally engineering or related fields.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with FMCG industries is a plus.

  • Liaise with on-site teams regarding scheduling and materials supply.

Job description

Due to an increasing order book we are looking for a production planner to join our client who are working at the forefront of vehicle innovation.

You’ll be managing the production flow within a fast paced established manufacturing environment producing high value components which are supplied into the Motorsport and Automotive industries. This will entail someone to manage the scheduling and materials supply whilst liaising daily with various on site teams to ensure production schedules are being kept to and targets are being achieved. You may also be given the opportunity to get involved within the purchasing team.

Experience

As the successful production planner you’ll need to have experience of planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally within engineering so you would have some technical understanding but some FMCG industries could work. Experience of using MRP/SAP systems is required as well as being a good team player with excellent communication skills.

They produce some of the highest end products throughout a number of industries, including Motorsport, F1, Automotive, Marine and Aerospace. They are an established business with a World famous brand so a very cool company to be a part of.

This is a Monday to Friday position, on site full time.
