THE GIG

We are looking for someone who is at the early stages of their career and ready to develop their experience to become our next Production Planner. As our Production Planner you will coordinate the purchasing of footwear and accessories with the Global Supply Chain base to ensure the best delivery and maximum efficiency in production.

This is an exciting role which is varied & fast paced. You’ll need to be adaptable, have strong attention to detail and comfortable with high volumes of data. In return you’ll play a key role in coordinating our supply, an essential part of our business.

  • You will support the global supply planning team to coordinate all orders placed to the factories according to our purchasing calendar.
  • You will support with planning purchase orders in accordance with the capacity plan, by month, by construction to ensure maximum efficiency for customer and factory. You will use your planning skills to fulfil factories to keep production continuous and ensure we have no production gaps.
  • You will support with processing seasonal and other samples according to the sample calendar and be responsible for assigned factory to deliver on time. You will keep seasonal sample shipment information for all customers up to date.
  • You will learn to lead and organise Global Supplier and Regional Teams calls.
  • You will work with shipping and other internal parties to ensure correct shipping methods are issued to the factories and all invoices are issued in a timely manner.
  • You will function as a key partner & in a customer centric way to our global regions, effectively communicating with our Americas, APAC and EMEA regions. In addition, you will assist our regional & factory colleagues in trouble shooting their queries with your technical knowhow. Key stakeholders include our sourcing teams, country managers as well as our factory management teams.
  • You will work with the Global Sourcing team to understand and build on engagement to ensure the best levels of engagement and communication.
  • You will support with analysing data and create reports as required, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Some travel may be required between our UK based sites (Northamptonshire & London)

  • Customer service experience & a customer centric mindset
  • You will have experience working with high volumes of data and be able to analyse this data to make recommendations. Be able to work in a demanding environment to meet deadlines.
  • You will be a confident user of the Microsoft Office packages, including advanced Excel skills – this is essential.
  • Confident in Power point presentations and presenting to various stake holders.
  • Strong administrative & communication skills to a wide audience.
  • Experience consulting with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Beneficial to have experience in a similar planning role.
  • Beneficial to have knowledge of shipping terminology and ERP systems.
