The successful Production Planner will be responsible for:
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules that meet customer demand and optimise resource use
  • Coordinating with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to ensure material availability and timely production
  • Adjusting schedules in response to delays, shortages or production challenges
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure smooth workflow and avoid overstock or shortages
  • Analysing capacity and identifying production bottlenecks, offering proactive solutions
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing to align production with demand forecasts
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce waste and control costs
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across planning and production processes
  • Preparing and presenting reports on production performance and KPIs

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment and must have strong problem‑solving skills. You should also be proficient in ERP systems and planning software. The role would suit someone with a proactive and solutions‑driven mind‑set.
