Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for 5 Production Operatives on a 3 month rolling contract based in Rugby.

This role is INSIDE IR35

Role Summary

This role involves brazing copper, grinding/cleaning joints, insulating windings, and assisting with testing.

This is hands-on, technical work requiring precision, attention to detail, and good practical skills. Full training will be provided, but any prior experience with brazing, metalwork, or electrical assembly will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Brazing copper conductors to form stator components
• Grinding and finishing joints to ensure smooth, accurate surfaces
• Cleaning components to remove impurities and prepare for insulation
• Insulating copper windings with specialist paper and materials
• Checking/spotting impurities during the assembly process
• Supporting testing of stator coils for quality and performance
• Following strict health & safety and quality procedures on the line

Desired Qualifications

• Gantry crane or Overhead crane exp - desired
