Overview

Our client has been at the forefront of the recycling industry for over 27 years. They offer a wide range of services to support recycling requirements and are the only company in the UK that can offer a genuine solution to process single polymer plastic packaging, reducing the need to export. This is a bespoke sorting facility for recycling plastics from all areas of the logistics industry.

Responsibilities
  • As a Spotter, watch over and foresee potential hazards that may bring the sortation lines to a halt; act quickly to deal with blockages when they occur.
  • Use headsets and a radio to communicate; a good level of English is required.
  • Work in the pick cabin on the sortation line to pick and sort different types of plastic, placing them into the correct bins.
  • Stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Help maintain hygiene by cleaning down walkways and gantries, moving stillage containers and operating the stillage baler.
  • Operate bunker balers with attention to detail and clear communication; label goods for inbound and outbound.
Shift pattern and Pay

4 on 4 Off Day Shift 6:00am - 18:00pm £12.21ph
M - F Night Shift 19:00pm - 05:00am £12.50ph
