Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client one of the UK's largest producers of pork. Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Bodmin. The pay rate is £13.05 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £19.58 per hour. This is a part-time role working a fixed shift, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are: 4pm to 12am.

Responsibilities

• Working with the rest of the team on the line to fulfil specification, quantity and time requirements for production.
• Keep up to speed with the production line and work to the standards set by the line manager.
• Fully understand different quality requirements and customer specifications for raw/ sliced/ cooked/ boxed product/ labels etc.
• Visually examine product for quality, rejecting any unsuitable product and bringing issues to the Attention of the team Leader/ production Leader/ production controller.

• Comfortable working in chilled or hot temperatures and standing on their feet for long periods of time.
• You should also be happy to handle uncooked meat.
• No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative as full training is provided.
• PPE is provided, but it is advised that you wear warm clothing while on site.
