LOCATION : Ince-in-Makerfield, Wigan WN2 2ER.

RATE OF PAY : £13 per hour or circa £30,420

HOURS OF WORK : Monday to Friday 6.30am – 4.30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

Operate Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently (tested during interview).

Support warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, stock movements, and booking stock in / out.

When the food production area is busy, you will be required to help in this area to pick and pack food products.

Manually handle food stock and goods, including lifting and moving heavy items – must be physically fit and able to manage repetitive tasks.

Accurately pick and pack orders using handheld scanners in a fast-paced environment.

Assist with stock control, including cycle counts, stock checks, and investigating discrepancies.

Use warehouse systems and Microsoft Office tools for stock management and documentation.

Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, follow risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support the team with general warehouse duties as required, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Requirements

Working : Monday to Friday 6.30am – 4.30pm

Vast experience in a similar warehouse or food production environment role.

Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – practical test will schimb during interview.

Must be capable of performing manual tasks consistently.

Experience with stock control systems and warehouse software.

Strong awareness of Health & Safety and risk management in a warehouse setting.

Proven experience in order picking and packing, ideally using handheld scanners
