Overview

Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Ledbury
Contract Details: Temporary To Permanent
Salary: 12.50 per hour (weekly pay)

Hours:

39 hours per week
8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (30 min unpaid break)
8am to 1pm Friday (no break)

Responsibilities
  • As a Production Operative, you will: Assist in assembling company products
  • Support the repair and refurbishment of products
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure product excellence
  • Engage in engineering change processes to enhance existing products
  • Complete builds in alignment with sales and service orders
  • Aid in the smooth operation of the Service Warehouse
  • Assist with picking and packing spare parts for customers and field engineers
  • Maintain a clean and organised Service Warehouse
  • Participate in stock taking and stock control
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Experience in Warehouse Manufacturing is preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in English
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Previous experience in a production or assembly role
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards
