Overview

Production Operatives required for rotating shifts in Gillingham, Kent.

Location

Gillingham, Kent

Shifts

Rotating shifts on a weekly basis. Week one: 6am – 2pm, Mon to Thurs; 6am – 1pm Fri. Week two: 2pm – 10pm Mon–Thu; 1pm – 9pm Fri. Static shifts are NOT available.

Compensation

£13.41 per hour including shift allowance. Weekly pay, PAYE via React Recruitment Ltd. An assessment day will also be held on Tuesday 23 September, paid at £12.21 per hour; successful candidates will move to rotating shift work.

Requirements and qualifications
  • Experience assembling parts or electronic skills (wiring, soldering, crimping) preferred
  • Good dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination
  • Willingness to stand for long periods on the production line
  • Able to use hand tools and equipment to manufacture small parts (electronic assembly)
Selection process

Selection will be made after attending an induction day where skills and suitability for training will be assessed, including dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination. An online colour blindness test will be required prior to submitting your CV/going for assessment.

Notes

Long term temporary work available. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in assembling parts or electronic skills. The shifts rotate weekly; there are no static shifts.
